Excursion + Tasting — Scorzone Black Truffle

The excursion with tasting in its summer version, in the heart of the Crete Senesi. Accompanied by an experienced truffle hunter and his faithful dog, you will go in search of the Scorzone Black Truffle, the typical truffle of summer.

After the welcome briefing, we delve into the Santarcangelo truffle farm: you will learn to recognize the varieties of truffles, their habitat and the woods they prefer, following closely the nose of the dog that guides each discovery. Upon returning to the structure, a tasting of typical local products awaits you, accompanied by Tuscan wines such as Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino and, of course... truffles.

The Scorzone Black Truffle is harvested from 1 June to the end of September: with its delicate scent and dark pulp veined with light, it is the protagonist of the Tuscan summer. A perfect way to combine a walk in nature with the taste of its most authentic flavors.

The price includes the excursion and the tasting. The truffle to buy and take home is separate, at the market price.
